Privacy Policy

This policy explains what LingWYCO Dutch stores for the local learning experience, why it is stored, and what control learners have through their browser data.

What we collect

Information stored for your learning

LingWYCO Dutch uses a browser-based learning model. The learner-facing experience can store onboarding choices, lesson progress, quiz progress, saved items, recent activity, reminders, interface preferences, and cached learning content in this browser.

The current local learning path does not require learner email addresses, passwords, profile pictures, friend data, or private messages. Clearing this browser's site data can remove locally stored learner progress from this device.

Why we use it

Running the learning platform safely

  • To remember where you left off in lessons, quizzes, articles, and saved items.
  • To personalize the recommended Dutch path after onboarding.
  • To keep theme, language, cookie, and interface preferences consistent on this device.
  • To cache assets and learning content so the site loads smoothly.
  • To improve site stability, layout, content quality, and the learner experience over time.
Local learning data

Progress, saved items, and reminders

Progress and personalization are stored primarily in local browser storage for the individual using this device. That includes quiz attempts, completed lessons, saved resources, recent activity, onboarding answers, and reminder settings.

Local storage is device-specific. If you switch devices, browsers, or clear site data, that local learning state may not follow you.

No booking or payment data

No paid lesson records

LingWYCO Dutch does not currently offer paid lesson booking, checkout, subscriptions, payment windows, or instructor scheduling through this site. The current learner path does not require booking records, payment details, cancellation data, refund records, or no-show records.

Security and abuse prevention

Moderation records and rate limits

Technical safeguards may still be used to protect the public site from abuse, spam, scraping, or disruption. Those safeguards are separate from the local learner profile stored in your browser.

Sharing and processors

When information may be shared

Data may be processed by infrastructure providers used to host and deliver the site. Locally stored learning progress stays in this browser unless a future feature clearly asks you to send or sync it elsewhere.

Analytics and product improvement

Internal usage reporting

LingWYCO Dutch may use limited operational signals to understand whether pages load, content is useful, and the learning flow is working. These signals should support product improvement rather than public profiling.

Your choices

Local progress control and deletion

Learners can clear local progress, preferences, and cached browser content by clearing this site's data in their browser. If future synced features are added, their controls should be explained before those features are used.

Contact and updates

Policy changes

LingWYCO Dutch may update this policy as the platform grows. Material changes may be reflected on the site through updated page content. If you have privacy questions, use the LingWYCO Dutch contact page.
