Worlds Under Consequence

Barren spans a hidden god-galaxy, a birthplace world, planetary domains assigned after sibling conflict, and protected worlds whose importance deepens as the saga unfolds. The world page tracks the stage on which cosmic creation becomes civilization, species conflict, and late-saga upheaval.

Milky Way placement Earth and the planetary domains belong to the Milky Way era of the story.
Major Realms

The primary locations of canon

This setting is neither a single landmass nor a conventional fantasy map. It is a multi-world cosmic structure anchored by specific planets, hidden spaces, and protected domains.

Origin World

Neoda

Created by Rayas inside the Rayalin Galaxy, Neoda is the birthplace and first home of the Rays. It remains one of the deepest origin points in the saga and grows more important as the cosmic history resurfaces.

Protected Domain

Earth

Assigned to Arti and shielded shortly after he is given the planet. Earth repels loose raw Neurgent, which helps explain why humans naturally have little or no Neurgent.

Titilian World

Titan

Homeworld and associated moon-world of the Titilians. Titan is central to species loyalty, purist politics, sleeper-agent tension, and the wars that emerge around Uniton.

Human-Side Site

Monhegan / Monhegan School / Monhegan Mission Vault

Named Earth-side locations present in canon. Their fuller role remains available for later expansion without overruling current material.

Named Location

Humanian

Canon-named location preserved here as part of the wider world structure. Specific description remains TBD.

Named Location

Titanus / Deadman Cove

Canon-recognized places with room for future region or location dossier pages. Detailed atmospheric treatment remains TBD until finalized.

Altered Natural Laws

The world does not handle power normally

  • Neurgent is living energy, not a normal organism.
  • Loose Neurgent on Earth is repelled by Arti’s field and tends to float upward or away from the planet.
  • Contained Neurgent rises toward the top of vessels as though under reverse gravity.
  • Earth rejects loose Neurgent energy, not Neurgent-bearing life itself.
  • Planetary shielding becomes a rare art known first only by Arti and later shared only with Tara.
Planetary Domains

The assignments given after sibling conflict

Confirmed assignments Lucien to Mercury, Vena to Venus, Arti to Earth, Mar to Mars, Jupa to Jupiter, Saturna to Saturn, Anu to Uranus, Nia to Neptune, and Luo to Pluto.
Visual rule Each Ray appears through a humanoid vessel with a visible inner glowing orb or core: Rayas is orange, Lucien crimson red, Vena deep emerald green, Arti lime green, Mar toxic darker green, Jupa burnt umber, Saturna bronze-copper, Anu ice blue, Nia purple, and Luo deep blue.
Species and Survival

The major peoples of the setting

Humans Humans look human, bleed red, naturally have little or no Neurgent, and lean more heavily into technology than biological empowerment.
Titilians A reptilian species associated with Titan. They appear human externally, but deep wounds can reveal green iridescent scales beneath the outer shell.
Androids / synths Synthetic humanoids that look fully human, bleed purple-ish fluid, and are distinct from earlier robots or bots.
World Pressure

The conflicts embedded in place

Earth’s uniqueness Because Earth does not accumulate raw Neurgent naturally, human limitation becomes part of the world’s political and scientific tension.
Titan’s fracture Purist loyalty and species pride define Titan’s politics, especially in response to Uniton and species mixing.
Hidden access The Rayalin Galaxy is hidden from ordinary perception. Only very high-power beings can perceive or access it.
